Reply:I have never welded with the latest model but my friends had both models. You gain the soft SQ wave arc, and triangular wave/sinewave too.(Three more total) So more arc shaping, and better tail out on aluminum according to my friend. He has a Dynasty 350 too. I never cared for the tail out of the older model, and always felt Thermal-arc machines welded way nicer. Head to head with the last model Arcmaster 185, Lincoln 205 T and older Dynasty. I would not consider a older model ,but would be happy to have a later model machine.(IMO)Esab/Lorch ET-220iEsab 160i caddyThermal LM-200 Lincoln feedersThermal Pee-Wee 85sThermal 60i- 3phase /RPC powered (Beast)Thermal Drag-gun 35CINE 1500 Klutch 140i
