Argon regulator...Help!!!

Hi,it's my first post,need your help,tomorrow I will receive my first delivery of argon at home(E size bottle) and don't know if my regulator is going to be compatible with the cylinder's valve.My welder is a cheap chinese ac/dc 200 amp. tig welder (Please don't laugh) and it came with the regulator with connection on the botton ,my question being is it possible to swap the inlet with the safety valve ?They look the same thread.Asking because most cylinders I've seen have the side facing valve.Please help.Thanks,Alfred. Reply:Why not just rotate the actual flowmeter (tube) 90 deg? If it won't turn anymore, remove it, put some Teflon tape around the threads and reposition it.....Mike
Reply:Hi,Mike thanks for the quick answer ,what you say crossed my mind but all threads are hard as a rock and don't want togo feral and break the regulator.Is it possible that they could have any sealant/adhesive filling the threads?
Reply:Yep, very possible, I've even seen some old regulators that are soldered. I don't know if the safety valve is for the HP or LP side, I assume HP (but you know what assume means),  hopefully someone with more knowledge will pop in ...Mike

Reply:At the end I followed what mike suggested and released the flowmeter ,rolled it with teflon tape and tighten it until was in the right angle...looks funny but works.Thanks,for your help.
