Finally got my hands on good deal, a Powermig 216. Got to get a roll of wire & run a circuit for it & start welding. I ran a bead with it before I bought it, & it welded great! Attached ImagesMastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.

Reply:I may get rid of the 120 volt Weld-pak 100, that is if I think the powermig will weld the thin metals decent. I also have a HF 165 tig/stick so I think I could get by without it, but kind of got attached to it over the last 17 years, plus it is portable.Decisions, decisions! Anyway got the 50 amp circuit ran & hooked up, got a 10 lb spool of .035 wire, just too tired to weld any today, maybe tomorrow. Reply:That is good advise, & I think I will follow it. The Weld-pak 100 is setup for .025 wire which welds great on thin stuff like my old lawn mower deck or any thin sheet metal. The little welder paid for itself along time ago so I think I will keep it, I bought both welders used so I have much less tied up in both welders than the powermig 216 would cost new, so I'm ok there too.Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.
Reply:It's the excellent device I think. Is it better/worse if compared to your previous machine?Last edited by jenny_gry; 11-28-2013 at 03:27 AM.Visit lawnmowerpros.com for quality lawn mower parts and accessories.
