Lets see if I can get a answer this time, All my posts just get kicked down with hundreds of views but no replies,Should I buyA used TD Cutmaster 52a 2003 TD Cutmaster 75a PAKMAster 75 with 2 extra hosesthe first two are both 60 amp machines but with different ratings, I need to be able to cut 1/2" quickly, and pierce 1/4" all dayso whats the best choice

Reply:Jon since they all cost about the same why not just pick the one you like best based on the specs. Do you already have the required air source for any of the three? Most of us when it comes to tools just do not buy off a stranger's input. There is a reason for that. Something tells me there are alot here with plasma cutter knowledge and that if you will stay positive more will be willing to share with you. Often those with the most skills have the least about of time to post to forum questions. They could use some more details on what you plan to cut, etc. The questions you have asked are answered in the machine specs that Google will get for you.Do you plan to purchase soon?
Reply:Yes I have a A/C I use a Pakmaster 100xl at work, I was just wondering about the 52 and the cutmaster 75 they are both 60 amp machines and the 52 is only rated at 1/2 while the 75 is rated at 3/4 but they both are the same amps,

Reply:Any of those units will do the tasks that you outline. The 75's will cut 1/2" faster than the 52. You can look up the specs online as far as cut speed goes....the Thermadyne site provides .pdf files of the cut charts.And I believe there are quite a few on this site that can help you with plasma questions.Jim Colt    Hypertherm
Reply:The 52 is your best bet.  It has a 4 year warranty.  Check the data tag for date of manufacture to get an idea of how old it is.Both the 52 and the PakMaster 75 are 230 or 460 capable, the CUTMASTER 75 is a single voltage machine.
