A few years back we got an old Syncrowave 250 real cheap and cobbled up a water-cooled setup. My son was farting around just to see how it reacted. I thought the result was kinda funny. I'm sure he was a little out of practice but it made me smile. He was just doodling."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
Reply:This is the young buck doing the welding, not the older boy. The older one designed guns he wanted to build and painted pictures. The young one is a welder and machinist and does whatever he wants to do. Gotta love kids."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
Reply:Ha! It is sort of funny. At first it looked like 2 humanoid creatures wrestling, then it looked like a well, then I thought it sort of looked like a dress with armholes, but then I looked again and there were too many arm holes. It seems to be some sort of Rorschach test, I think.Miller Dynasty 200 DXMiller CP-300 with 30A feederHypertherm Powermax 900Oxy-fuel w/Harris torchesScotchman Glide-in bandsawMonarch 10EE latheEmi-Mec Autoturn latheDeckel FP2NC milling machinePro-Tools 105 Bender
