I`ve seen quite a few carts here, but none like mine. Most of the carts here set the welder up high, Great for shop use, but for my useage this is not practical. I use mine a lot in the field as well as the shop, and a high center of gravity is just not practical. I also need to be able to brake it down to fit into a trunk if required. Remove tank and handle, set in vehicle, go. Also, steps/stairs are a challenge... Tank holder is far enough off the ground to easily clear most any stair/steps I`ve encountered. Cart will tip back almost 45* for convienence. As my neighbor services power equipment, I have a relatively unlimited supply of used carts, use them for many things. Paint sprayer carts also work well. I would guess any shop that works on power equipment would give away/sell cheap these carts. My plasma cutter is on one, and I mounted an Onan 3.0AJ generator on one, complete w/ battery, fuel tank and exhaust, (sold it awhile ago).I built this a some years ago for very cheap, works great. Maybe 3 hrs design/scrounge/build time. Have build several over the years for friends who`ve seen it and wanted one. Cost: maybe ~$ 15 total, counting electric, gas, wire and misc, cart and materials were free, (scrap/leftovers). Only things I would maybe change: bigger wheels, but hasn`t really been an issue, and maybe more implement holders. Balance is almost perfect, very little effort to tip back and move. Clamp on top is dual purpose- helmut/hat holder and tool.Maybe on of these years I`ll actually paint it...Sorry for the craptastic cell pix, a photographer I am not! Attached Images

Reply:Have the same cart but mine has a small 1200 watt generator on it. I could use a few more of those carts they are adaptable to a lot of uses.
