Reply:I like automotive art.  I know it's not welding, but I would have used pop rivets.  You could also ask members to send you out of state plates to give some variety.  here's some more ideas for something else, and maybe you could get him to help you with it.http://www.pinterest.com/colorrado/car-crafts/I hope this reply is not seen as a hijack.I have a student that took a chevy tailgate, filled in the handle hole, and is going to custom paint it.  Then he is going to hang it in the game room behind the pool table.  We built this for another high school.
