Hello EveryoneHow do you determine if the main generator is good or not. Had engine rebuilt. Was welding before. Put in new main brushes. Checked armature and it is not going to ground. Trying to save a few bucks. Any help is appreciated. THANKS
Reply:Do you know how to or have you flashed the exciter?Often when a unit has been down for a period of time the exciter needs exciting with a shot of DC voltage to the exciter coils.
