jet drill press

Just bought a used jet 20 inch drill press model JDP-20mf didnt come with key olny number on chuck is RJ4-19L who makes it.Also how good is the drill press its an 2002 made in taiwan.
Reply:I you can get the manual here. At a glance I see a chuck & chuck key as a single part number. More digging might show something different. Reply:Depot/Lowes sells a variety of Jacobs chuck keys if I recall. It's been quite a while since I had to replace one, so I can't remeber which had them right now. There are a wide variety of keys available. The easiest way is to match an existing key (which you don't have) or just take the chuck out of the machine and take it in with you. From the look I'd say it was similar to the one in my small Delta or one of my heavy 1/2" drills, but I can't recall the chuck numbers right now. The one nice thing about Depot/Lowes is that they will take back them if you get the wrong one by accident..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I tried lowes ,home depot and tractor supply none of them have a big enough one it has a 3/4" chuck the pivot hole for the key is about 3/8"
