Reply:ummm, no, it does not. If all the holes are the same depth, then you have made each face a different weight. For instance, you removed 6 times as much material on the 6 face, making it lighter than the 1 face. Therefore, you are that much more likely for the die to land with the 1 on the bottom - meaning you roll more sixes. It is a very tricky art balancing dice.MillerMatic 252Miller Xtreme 625Miller Digital Elite
Reply:I had no idea.... but I did know I had no intention of creating balanced dice...... Only to create large novelty pieces that are good for paperweights and conversation starters.....I got a wild hair and decided I wanted to know if they were worth the effort to make so I posted it on Ebay just for Shiggles.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=251470565985Precision TIG 185 and MP 210Bobcat 225NTCutmaster 42O/A tanks.... 2 Argon tanks...... 2 C25 TanksFacebook...... Reply:Mike, thats usually what you do. However, the metal removed from the 1 face had all the material removed from the very center, while on the other faces it is all spread out. I imagine its complex stuff, and probably impossible to completely perfectly balance the entire thing. Just one of those things you have to live with, I guess.I'm no expert at it, by any means.MillerMatic 252Miller Xtreme 625Miller Digital Elite |
