Reply:You can get some pretty cheap chucks that bolt right through the front. They make some scroll type four jaw chucks too.  I would look at Enco for ideas.

Reply:my first project for it is to simple spin a lenght of pipe on some roller jacks, maybe i  aught to just make a  short pipe sleeve with some jack bolts to grip the lenght of pipe, i 'm not sure i'll need a chuck after looking at the prices (300 and up) and considering what my needs are right now,might  might just go on the cheapface all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best.

Reply:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T21AUYY?psc=1If you do decide to buy something like this, make sure the chuck has 4 threaded mounting holes.  Many times there are 3.  Your plate is set up for 4 holes.

Reply:i found a 4 jaw 6 in smitty chuck local here for 100 bucks, score..also bought a 25 foot foot pedal extention(7 pin military plug, so i'm into this rig for  about 500 bucks, but, it's a back save, at my age i'll pay for comfort, old bulls rule!face all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best.
