I had my Maxstar 150 STL replaced by a brand new one last week because when I purchased it I was quoted the price for a Stick only package expecting and being told I was also getting the Tig, Case etc. I paid 1352.00 for it at the pricing of the Stick package, however when they brought the new one it included everything for the Tig setup as well and hard carrying case. I've never used this new one. Everything's still wrapped and in plastic in the hard case. I now have too many welders and don't really stray from my engine driven so I'm going to offer this brand new welder for a really good deal to someone who can use it at 1250.00 for a package worth much more. You can pull 150 amps with this and it's 115 and 230 powerable with a two second plug swap. Everything in the picture is included. Buyer must pay shipping ... Send me a pm for more info

It showed up with just the stinger, and ground as that's the price I was actually quoted for. I tore a strip out of the rep for not quoting me for a proper machine I requested that included the Tig, hard case etc.. He brought me a brand new one with all the goodies for the price of just the stick package (1352.00) and it included the Tig, and the hard case and everything you see in the photo for the price of Stick package only. Someone's getting less than stick package only price for the complete Tig package brand new, and unused since I have no use for it now that I just bought myself a new engine driven on a skid.1250.00 no taxAll you're paying over and above that is shipping.I paid the Stick only price (A steal for the entire Tig package) of 1352.00 and some odd cents.It's never been taken out of the plastic even from the box.

Reply:I'm not meaning to mess with you, Welder BC. For what it's worth, it is not generally customary to pay the full MSRP on Miller welding machines. Most shops discount the price. The Cyberweld and other online prices are usually pretty close to what my local Airgas store quotes me for the same machines. I posted the Cyberweld price cause they're usually a pretty good indicator of the typical actual market price, since the full Miller retail price isn't usually followed by most retailers.I make most of my brand new equipment purchases through my local Airgas store cause I like to support the local business economy rather than scouring the internet for the absolute bottom dollar price.
