ust wondering if this ever happened to anyone else. i was welding with my lincoln electric weld pak 100 and out of nowhere the wire feed stopped. i thought the spool was empty and turned it off and checked. the spool was still half full so i turned it back on and it's worked fine since,.\am i hallucinating, or does this sometimes happen with wire feed machines or should i dust off the receipt. i bought the machine in july and have been very happy with it.thankskev

Reply:You hit the duty cycle happened to me to yeserday!
Reply:Yup, duty cycle's only 20%, but dont turn it off, the fan will cool it off faster.(If it has a fan)
Reply:If your input 110VAC drops to 90VAC you duty cycle will drop to 12%, Plus a 25 extension cord will drop the duty cycle to about 10%The Lincolns are know for high power consumption
