Two table bases for a customer. After the picture I hit the whole thing with the d.a. With 120 to remove the mill scale as per their request. Bid at 5 hours, spent 6. Attached Images
Reply:What kind of top are they going to have? Did you have to put a finish on them? They look good and sturdy. Nice work.
Reply:Nice work, Sir. RE hitting them with DA. Will save you time if you DA them before they're cut down and fit up. Thanks for sharing.-AaronJet 17.5" Drill Press1942 South Bend 16x84 Lathe1980s Miller 320A / BP --- 2013 Power Mig 2562012 Jet 7x12 Horizontal BandsawVictor O/A Setup
Reply:Nice work! I need to make some for my buddies house, (who has 3 boys) but put a steel plate on top, and he wouldn't have to worry about them breaking it. Good kids, but rough.
Reply:Customer plans to rust them then clearcoat and finish one with a barnwood top and the other with a solid walnut top.
Reply:The descaling was added after the fact, sure would have been a lot easier to do them in 20' lengths. |
