I have a small montgomery ward (logan 10" swing) that has served me well over the past couple of years.. considering I paid $97 for it on ebay. I'm looking to get another lathe to play around with: restore/convert to cnc. This is quite a bit of money, but it seems like these go for mucho dinero. Can anyone offer an opinion on this?http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/tls/2092574918.htmlESAB Heliarc 252

I'm a bit more familiar with the 10EE's, but this one appears to be almost fully equipped and the price is good regarding that. The 10EEs had some funky electronics on them. I'd go check it out and run it...it'll put that wards out to lunch. Here is a link that might give you some info:http://www.lathes.co.uk/monarch/page2.htmlGood LuckLast edited by dunemetal; 12-03-2010 at 02:13 PM. |
