WTB: #2 40cu ft gas cylinder

simple enough.  must be cert'd so I can trade it in for filled bottles.  don't feel like paying stupid new retail pricing, ouch.this is the short, fat bottle measures about 17x7

Reply:Well, I'm only a few minutes from Levittown, NY, but that's way too far to drive to pick up a couple of cylinders (and prices for these kinds of things tend to be inflated in my area anyway).BTW, you didn't mention what you want to put in these.  I saw CF of gas, so I'm guessing either oxygen, or argon/inert-gas, but those use different, and incompatible, valve styles.

Reply:Sorry, I just checked, and they're 60cf.Any reason in particular you want 40cf?  My 80cf cylinders are the same nominal diameter, and are WAY less than twice the price to fill.  I've actually been slowly upgrading my 60's to 80's for that reason.
Reply:space constraints.  I actually figured out  a way to move stuff around and now I can use basically any size bottle that will fit on a normal weight welding cart.  it would need to be capable of c-25 gas or tri-mix for welding stainless
