First off, I owe this whole thing to CJ_978 as it was his post that gave me the idea. But as they were not for sale and I really, really, really liked it. I got the machinist to turn one up on the lathe for me today. Still have to polish it, add a tungsten and drill a hole for the key ring. To be clear up front: I have no intents on reproducing or selling this, unless CJ is ok with it. So with that said:
Reply:I like it! Going to make it a key chain or an ornament? Being on the machinists good side is always good, they like doughnuts and lunch from time to time.

Reply:Got the hole drilled in for the ring. Probably going to get lazy and not polish it. Lol. It's still cool in my book. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Reply:That's a cool key ring! Nice work

Reply:Should cut a notch into the side of the handle to make it a bottle opener.

Reply:I want one too. With the bottle opener option please. I have a Mazak lathe that could spit those out at about 40 seconds for the handle, including the cross hole. Stainless steel. Nozzle part would take more than twice as long as I would make the tungsten as part of the turning. A lot faster in brass. That lathe is set up as a bar feeder and runs un attended.NO, not going to produce them.
Reply:Looks cool!  Many moons ago, I saw a key chain made into a chipping hammer that a guy had at a trade show.  It was anodized blue and looked really neat. Reply:I saw one a guy made bud and he blued the end of the cup with some heat. It looked mad cool, but would scratch right off obviously if not protected with something. Looked slick tho brother. Just something to think about. Or feel free to tell me to shut up and mind my business.  I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:A larger version with the handle bored out with a threaded cap would make a bad *** tungsten holder.
