Reply:I used to use a big ol green machine at work! I was lost without digital displays lol so I remember communicating settings to other guys by way of how many turns out on the handles. I had fun with it but we were only using it for .045 211 on fire-sprinkler pipe. I am inclined to think it would have loved some 232 or 233 but it ended up getting thrown away I think.that machine actually taught me a lot in our short time together, I remember googling "slope control"bosses stuff:trailblazer 325maxstar 200my stuff:sa 200fronius transpocket 180100 amp Lincoln w/f97 f350 DITKevin
Reply:now you got me thinking about the old linde/uc "cnc" plaz/ oxy/fuel table they still use in our shop. not sure when it was made but programming looks like this:%n1m65m68x-6.0y-6.0x6.0y6.0m69m66x-6.375r%not sure if I got my kerf numbers right but man that was a fun machine. the above program got you a 6x6 square. I made all kinds of stuff on that machine and had a blast. they eventually figured out how to get it to take files from auto-cad though so it took away from all the funbosses stuff:trailblazer 325maxstar 200my stuff:sa 200fronius transpocket 180100 amp Lincoln w/f97 f350 DITKevin
Reply:i've had my 110/220 l-tec mig welder for about 15 or 20 years. i only use it on the 110 mode and only run innershield through it and have no complaints except it's kinda heavy lugging it up ladders or stairs. this is my go to machine at work for light welding or getting into awkward places. at home i have the lincoln 125sp.i.u.o.e. # 15queens, ny and sunny fla
