Ok I need to ask a question that may make sense to the experienced. I am new at welding and rec'd a WeldPak 3200HD (lincoln) for my birthday. I am very happy with it so I decided to try the C25 gas. Pretty cool. My question is that I find that when I make a weld I am hearing a popping sound as I am welding. the weld looks good, but is this popping sound normal, or am I doing something incorect. I have set the pressure according to the manual. My next question is that when welding with C25, can I weld up as in not flat on a table or is not recommended? I ask this because of a molten ball falling to the groung from the tip, thanks to gravity.I hope what I say makes some kind of sense. I hope some one can steer me in the right direction. ThanksMike |
