My Lincoln needs a new power cord. I have a 10 ga cord for a dryer available. Can I use that or do I need a special cord made specifically for the welder?

Reply:Most of these 50A welders come factory equipped with a #10 input power cord. You can plug it into a 50A circuit just fine with its #10 power cord. But it would be best to get a NEMA 6-50P plug for the end of the cord and use a welder receptacle.
Reply:OK, thanks for the replies.
