hypertherm powermax 350 ?

i see one for sale locally.  is this machine worth 600$ ? how old is this model ? i dont see it listed on hypertherm's website states " Cutter is in great shape and fully functional.  Has a PAC 110 torch gun, 30' power cord and a few spare tips included."
Reply:Hey SEAR,If you're going to stay strictly with sheetmetal, that unit would be ok. It's only a 25A output & it would struggle to even do 1/4". Used, that unit, if working properly & really clean, may fetch 300-350. It's a buyers' market today. Shop around a bit if you're not in a hurry. You can get a new TD Cutmaster52, 60A, delivered for $1400 & has much more power. Do some homework....DennyComplete Welding/Machine/Fab.
