I am looking for a small low speed motor Diesel would be perfect i need to run a Sprocket to run some accessories own. i dont want to spend a lot so im looking for something used.I had a line on a Miller Big40D that i was going to get but the ******* i had a deal with sold it the day before i was suppose to pick it up.Got any suggestions for finding these? searching Ebay and craigslist is tedious and not very productive.
Reply:maybe a small car engine? wouldn't be diesel, but it would be cheap. You could pick up a runner and scrap the body when done.My name's not Jim....
Reply:A very fine choice should U be fortunate to find one is the Yanmars, mostly 3 cylinders ... mine is 32 hp and is bulletproof. Common around sailboats as aux. engines and also they are in some smaller John Deere small tractors and in some lawnmowers as used around golf courses etc which is where I found mine.
