Reply:Interesting. I thought a lot of your stuff was DC tig. Sounds like AC to me.They do make helium analyzers typically used for dive gas. They aren't cheap though and for your use it might not matter. If you are really curious about your mix, you might be able to track down a tech diver who has one and he can read your mix. Never tried it with helium/argon. All the ones we did were all helium/ nitrogen /O2 mixes  but the units didn't read O2. We had to measure that separately from the He to give us our mix..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
