I recently bought a High Roller "adult" Big Wheel.Yes, a big wheel made for "adults".Mature, responsible, grown-up, "adults". ;-)Although it was nice, like most everything I own I wouldn't be happy until I modified it to make it unique and make it my own. So I came up with a design, bought a couple sheets of CRS and went to town with my plasma cutter and TIG.First up was modifying the rear axle by adding some brackets:That wasn't too bad:Next up was making something to bolt to those new brackets:Next, off to get powder coated by my buddy. Here you have it, my newly completed "Purple Nurple". Yes, it's a lot of fun to ride.Last edited by LuMax; 05-06-2014 at 09:58 PM.
Reply:Crazy fun.I'm 51 years old. The "kid" big wheel hit my hood when I was a little too big for them but we still had a bunch of fun on them.Dave ReberWadsworth Ohio

Reply:Same here, also 51.I remember squeezing into the little kids big wheels back then so I could also do power slides. I also recall them sagging a bit under my weight even though I wasn't a very big kid. Now at 5'10", this one fits a lot better and also does better power slides than those little plastic ones ever did.
Reply:AKmud - No, those are called "drift trikes" and normally only have foot pegs, not pedals. Mine is like these (start watching at about 2:00):Last edited by LuMax; 05-06-2014 at 10:46 PM.
