I was playing around on youtube yesterday and ran across a welding series from weld.com hosted by a guy who calls himself Mr.Tig. Now they say he is a world renowned TIG welding expert and he seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject matter. However the weld quality that comes from this guy is that of something I would expect from someone with maybe a couple years of experience. If you look at some of his videos he has some pretty good information that he talks about but again his weld quality is garbage considering his "accolades and credentials". What are your thoughts??1973 Lincoln SA 200, Already replaced shunt coils, Idle board (SOLD)1984 Miller Dialarc 250HF, Miller water cooler, 250 AMP water cooled torch, you know the worx.
Reply:LOL. Understood. Is there any particular reason it is a sore subject here? PM or TEXT or Call me if you like. LOL. I don't really either but after seeing about a tungsten sharpener for sale by a member on here (pretty expensive little accessory for what it does IMHO) I youtube'd them to see them in action. One of the videos that came up was from "Mr.TIG" that's why I figured I would ask.On Edit: It almost appears if he is the "powerstrokehelp.com" guy of the TIG world. LMAO. If you owned a 6.0L Powerstroke and youtube stuff about them that azzhat pops up a lot. Reply:Mr. Tig seems like the kind of guy who could not make a living welding like a normal welder. So he makes videos for a living instead.

Reply:Lol I own a 6 leaker and love it. I don't use YouTube to fix it when something goes wrong lol. I know how to fix them. Just kind of an observation I made between Mr.Tig and powerstrokehelp.com (Bill Huit).1973 Lincoln SA 200, Already replaced shunt coils, Idle board (SOLD)1984 Miller Dialarc 250HF, Miller water cooler, 250 AMP water cooled torch, you know the worx.
Reply:Yea, he was in the '' A'' TEAM  SERIES !  He wore a lot of jewelery .
Reply:Thanks for the link Paul. I now remember reading that when it started shortly after I joined here. There was a comment by someone in that thread that said Mr. Tig travels the show circuit with Lincoln electric. I have seen their demo guys in action and let me tell you, their welding ability BLOWS this guy out of the water hands down. Those guys can weld no doubt about it.
