Hi guys,I have heard of the welding process known as TIG which would enable me to weld aluminum and stainless,To me as an electrician, it's all very mysterious but I've done some checks to find out that the cost of argon is far beyond my reach as pensioner/hobbyist, considering that I would only use it once in a blue moon....!My queston is, is it possible to TIG weld without the gas...?Thank you,Norm.

Reply:Yup stick to flux core, as simply LEARNING how to tig takes about 50-100 tankfulls, let alone actually welding things. 1st on WeldingWeb to have a scrolling sig! HTP Invertig 400HTP Invertig 221HTP ProPulse 300HTP ProPulse 200 x2HTP ProPulse 220MTSHTP Inverarc 200TLP HTP Microcut 875SC
