Any one know much on Lincoln Commander 500

Looking at buying one of these machines used, its fairly close. Sticks in my mind that these machines had a few problems. Has any one here run one of these units, and if so what would your feed back be. Thanks, John
Reply:Good friend of mine has a commander 400 with the Duetz diesel that has been problem free. Last time I walked by the hour meter read 4700 + hours.
