5mm mild steel plate drilled and cut to size fot the wheel casters mount..1.5x2mm square tube..
Reply:Then i started to weld the table legs in the frame..I lean the front legs to make it more stable..I prefer to bolt the table top..these are the fixtures that will hold the plate..
Reply:I made a mistake,i should have not welded the inside corner..it took more time to grind the angle iron to flushed in the corner..Making sure that all fixtures are level in the frame..

Reply:Done with the frame..now tapping the table top..1/2 thick plate..my table is three plate design..Ground tab..
Reply:2 pieces 2mm stainless sheet welded together with 1/16 stainless welding rod..Do not have any sheet plate in my scrap bin..So i used a solid wood as an alternative..
Reply:If budget permits..i can easily replace it with sheet plate..Prepping the frame prior to painting..Then paint it with galvacoat primer

Reply:sweet... real nice work .
Reply:I'm not fond of the leaning front legs just where you are working but the build is great. Actually too good looking to weld on. Better put it in the living room instead :-)
Reply:Really nice job. I like the 3 plate design for clamping in the center of a part.TOO MANY TOOLS & NO MORE SPACE
Reply:Nice Job
Reply:Looks great! Questions:What kind of wood is that and why would you paint it? It looked beautiful. Where are you located (general area or country)? Are you concerned with painting the bottom of table plates that heat might burn it off releasing noxious fumes?Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
