Setting up a welder

Hi,I'm new to this forum and I've done nearly 1 year of welding but still learning.I have a TecArc ATIG 315P ACDC welder and the question is can someone explain to me how to fully set this welder correctly.I've been given this welder brand new and I had it only couple of months.Welding in DC is great, feels really good as well as it produces neat welds with good penetration, however I'm struggling with AC setup on this welder.Welding sheet metal such as 2 mm aly is OK however if I'm about to weld 3 mm box section it struggles to penetrate the metal on full blast and have ARC wander, but I know this welder is powerful enough for this job.If its possible can someone guide me with the setup of the 'Clean Ratio' 'AC BIAS' etc.Thank you
