I am in the market for 2 new engine drives, and have got all the literature and talked to the guys at my local lws about them. I am looking at the Lincoln ranger 250 gxt and the miller bobcat 250 efi. I am not partial to one brand or another, and am looking for honest opinions from guys who own these rigs. Both pros and cons. Any help would be greatly appreciatedGo Cards!!!!!
Reply:Both are good machines.I have a 250GXT, I got a good deal on it. It's about 6 months old. Runs great, I'm happy so far.Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
Reply:The Ranger I believe is set up to run a remote for tig and a standard wire feeder. The Bobcat isn't. You would want to look at the Trailblazer instead if you needed that capability..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
