I got an LN-22 off ebone for a good price. Gun and all.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=017Probably going to sand blast and paint it red. Today I ordered a 4 pack of 14 lb coils of NR211MP in 1/16". This will go with my ranger 250 OR Lincoln G7.DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:You will enjoy R2D2 as I call mine. The only problem with it is Lincoln only wire in the 14Lb redi reels.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:Excellent choice in a machine there David. The next time I am back home my dad and I are swapping my Eagle 10,000 for his Ranger 250 as he has retired and no longer needs the power or versatility and then my partner gets my GX271 (Ranger 305G in a different box) for his truck. I run 25lb spools of 211MP in my LN-25 and Hefty feeders. Great wire and unbeatable pricing. The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:OK, I got it and used it. It came with a full spool of 5/64 NR211. I Yanked the wire out of the gun, Cleaned it with parts cleaner and compressed air. Installed a new contact tip and away it went.Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:Very nice David R, congratulations. Can you share the wiring pin-out for it?Maybe reconsider the sandblasting. Seems like the sand will sneak in everywhere, and grind it to a slow grueling death.
Reply:You need a heat shield for your gun, as well as a shorter gooseneck. It is a sweet lil' feeder though, ain't it.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:I was just jerking your chain... Good grab Dave.Me!

Reply:I had some time last week, so I took it all apart and stripped the layers paint off with chemicals. All sheet is aluminum. I primed and painted it with some decent paint. I used a flap disk on the aluminum frame. I took a putty knife to the front of the meters and some 600 grit sand paper. The WFS meter does not work right, but the volts one does.Scroll back and look how sad it was. David Last edited by David R; 02-23-2008 at 07:03 AM.Real world weldin.
