Reply:Parts only, or parts and labor? If you just do rings and bearings you can probably get the parts for a little over $200.If you are talking boring cylinders and new pistons you are up around $500.Bad cam, timing gears, etc add more $Joewww.CummingsHauling.com
Reply:South ms. I already have a 77 model sa 200 and absolutely love it so smooth! i am possibly gonna buy another one locally. How much of a job is it to replace rings and bearings
Reply:Not a big deal. If I had all the parts laying there I would guess about 4 hours. That is just figuring doing rings and bearings in an otherwise good running f163.Joewww.CummingsHauling.com
Reply:Thanks for the input guys i did get the machine today very pleased with it but has a little blow by i hope the new rings will fix it. Any pointers on anything else to look for? |
