LN-25 Pro.

I am considering buying an LN-25 Pro to go with my Ranger 10,000 plus. Any experience or advice for this unit?

Reply:I have the older Hefty and if they didn't do a major redesign on the case they sure should have. I also have an LN-25. The Hefty is now the spare unit. The ln-25 is the only feeder I have ever used that I haven't had a birdnest or hang-up with. You can't beat Lincolns gun either. I seriously cringed when I ordered it (had always used twecos before) but now that I have used it I am glad I did. The thing will probably retire me.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:Yep, the hefly has been completely redesigned, now has a digital front end heavy duty case and drive system,
Reply:This one distorted and it causes the spool to rub on the case which isn't usually a problem unless the spool is bent which is frequently the case, lol. It is still a good feeder though. It is very touchy on tension adjustment. The Lincoln has no adjustment.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
