pipe dolly

I built this dolly to move long pieces (up to 30' or so) of drill pipe.The front and back casters swivel making the pipe on top very maneuverable.The vertical pieces adjust upward just like a welding stand.Since I am excessive, the vertical pieces can telescope up from 2' to theoretically (I haven't tried it with a long piece of pipe) 6'. The dolly improves my ability to line up pipe with the welder, chop saw etc., etc.

Reply:Off topic...but couldn't help noticing your B&D workmate in your first pic. I have my dear old departed dad's which he always claimed was of the first run of the things. For those of you out there that have never used one of the "real" ones...let me tell you that they are the balls. The wood on mine is all charred and cut and drilled from a couple decades fabbing sh!t in the field...but the steel frame is still solid. Added safety locks on it after it folded up on me years ago while sitting on it...nearly breaking my back!  Since then...I've had 300 lb. loads on it...no sweat.If you ever see these in a yardsale..jump on 'em. A buddy last year found a brand new one...never used...for 10 bucks.
