I have a Lincoln G8000 and have been using it to generate 220 power for a Hobart 187 mig welder. Today I lost power. Engine runs fine, but will barely turn a chop saw. Suggestions?? Will a weak battery affect the generators output?
Reply:Battery has nothing to do with it once the welder is running.Do you need the fine control turned all the way up?That is all I have to help.DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
