Was reading this article and they mention that when starting out he used a old Airco tig for micro welding. We that got my interest. What Airco would they have been meaning? http://www.thefabricator.com/article...ll-and-growingGear: Esab power compact 205 with tbi industries torch BOC Smootharc 185dc tig Miller Syncrowave 350LX
Reply:Miller manufactured a 50 amp welding machine they sold under the Auto Arc name. That's likely what he was referring to.Great article. I've sold stuff to guys in the micro welding industry in the past. It's quite lucrative from my understanding.Expert Garage Hack....https://www.facebook.com/steven.webber.948

Reply:Cool. There was a time when those machine would bring real good money. Now, a Maxtron 450 will go down to about three amps with a very stable arc. I sold a couple of them to a guy that does a lot of art style furnishings and he uses his for thin stuff quite a bit.Expert Garage Hack....https://www.facebook.com/steven.webber.948
