What is the purpose of a second bend on flux core gun necks?

I am ordering a Profax model #1260 350a flux cored gun this week and when looking at the product sheet they list 30deg and 50deg necks with single and double bends. What is the purpose of the second bend, does it help for vertical welding on structural stuff because it points the wire upward?I'll be running .035 & .045 wire and will most likely go with the 15' gun with the 50deg neck, but might pick up the 30 just in case but dont know which one to get.Thanks,ChrisTOO MANY TOOLS & NO MORE SPACE
Reply:It just changes the angle of the gun and the distance from you hand to the work. A 50* single  puts the nozzle 50* from the handle,whereas a 50* double might bend back 10* at the end. Just a comfort thing I would think. I have never had a need for a double bend, but I dont do hours and hours of FC welding.
