Miller Trailblazer 44G starter problem

.Can anyone out there tell me where I can locate the serial number on a Miller Trailblazer 44G? The only number I have been able to locate thus far is the engine serial number for the Continental F163 engine.For some reason this welder seems to be frying brand new starter solenoids. I've replaced it twice so far in the same week, and find that I can hit the start button maybe twice before the solenoid ceases to work. I've removed the starter motor and bench tested it.... It works fine as long as it is out of the machine. The solenoid however just dies after one or two tries.  Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem could be? The welder has been in storage for a few years, but ran fine before I laid it up.
