Went and picked up my new to me vise today. Now i just hope i can get a set of jaws for it and still be in it pretty good. It is in alot better shape then i thought it would me hardly any nicks and dings in it. Looks alot better in person then in the pics. The two handles are bent that control the swivel. The one that opens the jaws is slightly bent but not bad.Equipment:Lincoln Ranger 8Lincoln Power Mig 255Miller Diversion 165Hypertherm Powermax 45Victor Pro Series Torch setTons of other shop supplies

Reply:Only a broken jaw? That should be a relatively easy replacement. My 4" bullet came from a retired machinist who said, "I've had every kind of jaw in that vice you can imagine, steel, brass, plastic, wood." Cool vice!! City of L.A. Might get lucky and find somebody that dont know what they have like i didEquipment:Lincoln Ranger 8Lincoln Power Mig 255Miller Diversion 165Hypertherm Powermax 45Victor Pro Series Torch setTons of other shop supplies
Reply:I found mine in my MIL's garage and it was a little cheaper than these. Only a 4". Just a lucky find. Where do you find the date of manufacture?
Reply:If it is the bullet vice take it out almost all the way and look on the key that holds it straight. It should have numbers on there. Subtract 5 years from the date cause the date on the vice is when the warranty was up on it. Like mine says 4-51 so it was made in 4-46. If its not the bullet one im not for sure.Equipment:Lincoln Ranger 8Lincoln Power Mig 255Miller Diversion 165Hypertherm Powermax 45Victor Pro Series Torch setTons of other shop supplies
