im poping the breaker on a 20 amp circuit with a lincoln 140 after about a 8 to 10 second bead. how many amps do i need. and if i were to buy a generator what kind can i get that would work

Reply:it says imput current @ rated output 20Amps. imput power 120/1/60nothing else on circuit i think and its at full machine power but it was tripping the same at 75% power. was welding a metal rod to a flat piece. putting wheels on a engine houst. my old house never tripped a circuit so i never paid attention
Reply:you night need to replace breaker maybe worn out  or just a bad breaker but from your other post you say it s in the gargae it could be a gfi breaker they are known to trip easy
Reply:they are gfi in garage i did not think that the laundry room would be though was using a ridgid 10-3 cord
