i have a predator that has been sitting a couple of years ,it worked fine when put up now the motor runs fine but the generator puts out no power, any help thanks dalemiller trail blazer ,miller bluestar,licoln tig 300/300 ,lincoln buzz box ,lincoln hi freqency box, 2 super s32p suitcases ,miller matic mig, ln7,60 inch southbend lathe,craftman 110 mig, L TECH 250 HF, binzel push pull gun ,36 inch hendey lathe

Reply:You might have lost the magnetism on the armature. I have heard plug a corded drill into one of the outlets and give the chuck a turn with your hand and that produces enough current to flash the armature and start generating power. You know its working when the drill starts. I have not tried this myself but have seen it on other forums. |
