First welder purchase!!

The first welder that I have ever purchased is an Idealarc 250/250. I managed to get it for around 200 dollars and it is in good condition, no rust on the exterior, was kept in a educational shop environment. Cleaned off  a little grime on the outside and looks pretty good. The only question that I have is what should be used to clean up the inside, is there a special solvent that should be used? Is there anything that should be lubricated once cleaned, checked over? etc. etc.I'm hoping that this puppy will last a long while yet, with it's 350 lb weight. Reply:Welcome to the site, youve got a great welder there. Those old tombstone lincolns are smooooooooth welders. For cleaning up the inside id just use a little compressed air. Just be careful of any small parts and just blow the dirt and dust out and it should be good for many years of dependable service.
