shorthood won't stay pined

have a 55 shorthood that is still welding pipe with, great machine, the bellows ideler works fine, it ramps up with just a touch off the rod. problem is when i pin the bellows like when i need to use my grinder,after a couple off rods it will pull down past the pin hole and the pin will vibrate out then it will go back to idel, the pin will not stay in the hole, no one seams to know how to fix this??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i have a pipe test monday.  thanks   Dave Pa

Reply:duanbe55, thanks for the reply but my shorthood still has the original round pin attached to a chain, but if i can;t figure this out I will have to start carring a cotter pin
Reply:I don't mess around with those pins. I put a vacuum switch in line with mine. I control mine from the panel.Joewww.CummingsHauling.com
