Can you tell me about this machine?

this add is run by a friend of my Dad's, I have looked at the welder and tried to find out some info on the machine and cant seem to find anything. My price for the machine is not the price he has listed in the add, and I am just wondering if this is a quality machine or not. Reply:hi, this could just be a big "HARBOR FREIGHT" chunk of metal. I would go with a REAL machine before I would throw away hard earned money on a no name.TURK said it right! I guess I'm just spoiled with MILLER or LINCOLN. You can find a pretty good deal on craigs list if you have the time to look no to mention a used real machine will come with leads too.Like everybody says you get what you pay for. Nothing worse than buying a deal only to find out later how much more it will cost. GOOD LUCK ???
Reply:Yes, I too am spoiled with Lincoln and Miller machines, and to be honest I have no real want or need to buy this machine. However I was offered the chance to buy it for what he has in it. (I happen to know he picked it up at an auction for under $1000) and was just curious if anyone knew anything about it. Who makes it ect.. as I have not been able to find out anything about it. Also he has the leads for it, or had as I bought those from him about 2 months ago.

Reply:If the U/S goverment wants to create lot's of jobs and really build the country back up , it would bar all china junk imports from being sold here. after all, They lock our imports out. ...some other countrysbar china crap .....our gov. is a real push over....
