PowerMig 216

I was wondering if anybody has ever welded with the PowerMig 216. Reply:Ha, just at a quick glance it appears the 215XT is gone and the new 216 is in. I didn't do a line item stare and compare but it looks like the PM 215XT with a few mods to the case. Moved the on/off switch up where it should be, got rid of the passenger side door for consumables maybe and added that feature up top. Put that nice cable rack/gun rack on the side. Other than that I can't really say. If it is a rehash of the PM 215XT it's a pretty nice operating machine. So forgiving in the voltage taps it's shamefull ..  I guess the spool gun setup isn't as convenient as other manufacturers, but then I don't do aluminum so that isn't an issue to me. Could very well be for others tho. I got the 15ft, 250 amp gun as OEM with my 215. Kinda iffy with .023 wire, but then I don't bother with putting in the right liner either. I use another machine for .023 if I'm serious about it. So the PM 215Xt is a sweet machine, this should be too if they are similar.
