I have the following 1500 series FRL device and was wondering if anyone had this thing. I don't want to have a lubricator function on my air line and was wondering if I could just remove the LUB part? Do they all piggy back....I didn't want to moneky around with this thing and be unsafe....the instructions for this product are worthless...thanks in advance.
Reply:If it's' the typical modular type you should be able to eliminate the lubricator. Otherwise, just don't put any lubricant in it.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:here is another example of putting this thing in the middle of a rigid system. So I guess you have to build it out and then leave it and forget it. Looks like some kind of compression fitting..
Reply:It turns out the ARO F/R/l is not a piggy back type ...Can I just get away with the regulator coming off the compressor and just add a filter in place of the F/R in the diagram?Last edited by vdotmatrix; 12-13-2015 at 12:09 AM. |
