Got more heads than handles, so:I have a good used working Victor CA2460 attachment I'd like to swap for a Victor 300 series or good compatible handle (Uniweld, Harris, Radnor, etc). I ship priority mail flat rate with internet delivery confirmation, and will email the tracking number immediately. (It's cheap and works well.)Expect same since mail service to my residence isn't the best unless it's being tracked.... May also swap for Oxweld/Purox/Linde/L-tec/Prestoweld torch/handle/cutting attachment/welding tips since I have a morbid Oxweld fetish.Lemme know what ya got. More swap stuff:Have a bunch of Victor 450A/460D Journeyman Oxy/Acetylene regulator CORES too if there is any interest. Will send pics of the core you will receive. They are disassembled and the caps etc hit with a buffer so you can see exactly what you are getting. They are not "oxygen clean".The cores are for folks who know what they are doing or want to send them in. My local Airgas takes such cores for rebuild but your mileage may vary. Guages, nipples, external fittings etc are removed as they get trashed anyway during overhaul. Attached Images

Reply:What you're getting. What are you asking for the Victor regulator cores and are the parts that attach to the bottles valves there too? I might want them also. At the very least it'll give everyone looking a price. Reply:I really prefer BARTER to money, so it gives the recipient some room to fix 'em and I get more welding stuff in one shot. Cuts the shipping in half that way too since I'm not selling then buying in another transaction. Keeps it cheep for everyone.I Ebay reg cores too, and they go for between 25 and 60 bucks-ish a pair depending on if I throw in other parts like tips or whatever. I don't put Ebay stuff here or the opposite. Send me an email or PM with pics of stuff ya have up for grabs, anything welding related. I'd do a reg for a torch head or handle, two for a complete combo or straight torch, but other stuff is cool too. I can use more Victor handles and heads. I'm trying to end up with "sets" of gear. The cores are stripped. I don't like "mystery" parts nor does anyone else so I stripped them all down and shined up the (outsides of) the caps and bodies since I have a buffer. The "nipples and nuts" that connect to the cylinder valve go in scrap because all good rebuilders replace them. They are in the same condition I've exchanged regs to the local Airgas for flat-rate rebuild. Anything visibly damaged goes in the brass bin.Nipple and nut combos are cheap online. Reply:Here is some of what I have left for victor torches. Tip nuts $1.25ea, valve stem assembly for oxygen and acetylene $9.00ea. Rosebud PN 0323-0260 $68.00ea, smaller rosebud PN 0387-0061 PN $65.00ea, and welding nozzles PN 0323-0132 and 0323-0131 $32.00ea. The torch is a victor style uniweld cutting attachment and handle new never used $100. I know you said you would like to barter, but thought I'd show you anyhow. Thank you for your time. Reply:Cool by me if we turn this into a OA Torches and Parts thread. It would be nice to have one if the mods approve. There gotta be plenty of folks with extra stuff and it's easier to scan one thread to see what's on offer. Pics for reference make identification easier.
Reply:Got the 310 from gizzardgutz. He's a good trader, and it looks even better than the pics. The 310 is longer than the 315 series and better for folks like me with large hands. |
