Reply:Could be worth it.  Check for warpage and stability.  Check stability because is it something you could modify or add a heavier top to.      Much easier to build on a flat surface.
Reply:honestly i'm more into it for the top. if i do build a bench it would be all square tube. i was thinking about cutting the top in half and making a longer bench.
Reply:well, its sold how much could i expect to pay for a 36" x 8' 1/4" plate if i wanted to make my own table?
