My neighbor and I picked up a 4 x 6 Harbor freight bandsaw on New Year's Day. I think it's a great little saw. However for cutting long material we needed a stand so we built this one. The legs are three-quarter inch 16gauge tubing. The center tube is half inch EMT. As it turns out the inside diameter of the EMT is actually just a hair over 5/8 of an inch. 5/8 inch threaded rod fit in perfectly. The top is just 2 x 2 8 inch angle iron. It works great.
