figured I would post this for anyone like me looks at these post to find info on welders.Well, I really like it! I was worried about the tapped settings, but it is smooth and very nicearc as well. The Coil Claw is a nice add on. I run a Miller 250 and Power Mig 350 MP at work and I'm not disappointed about bringing this baby home at all. The Max Trax Drive systemis very nice also. Well . . . sorry no bad things to say.P.S. If anyone orders a Power Mig 216 don't forget the 8" spool adapter for small 10lbspools etc. A 33lb and bigger spool would probably rust and or last a life time.
Reply:Good deal. Are you familiar enough with them to know the differences between the 215XT and the 216? I bought the PM 215XT then they came right out with this 216. Just curious.
Reply:The only Difference I see on the 216 is they done away with the 120v outlet added a gunand cable holder and the power went up by 1 volt and amp. nothing to get carried awayover. I did get a Viking welding helmet for free with the 216. I probably paid for it somewhere though.P.S. How do you like your 215?
